SIEGERT type CSZ & HYCSZ mechanical and hydraulic vertical coil tongs

SIEGERT type CSZ vertical coil tongs are mechanical tongs for transporting coils that are lying vertically. The tongs hold the coil by frictional contact between the inner hole and the outer periphery of the tongs. For the coil to be transported safely, its surface must be dry and free of oil.

The SIEGERT type HYCSZ vertical coil tongs are driven hydraulically. As with mechanical tongs, these tongs hold the vertical coil by frictional contact.
The following safety devices are provided for maintaining and monitoring the clamping pressure:
