Coil Handling

Coils of metal frequently have to be moved around in the sheet metalworking industry. It is therefore essential to optimise the loading, unloading and transportation of these heavy and easily damaged coils during the production and further processing of metal sheets.
Transporting coils horizontally
The coil is transported by inserting the hook into the hole. The following SIEGERT load suspension devices are particularly suitable for this task:

Transporting coils vertically
The coil is held in place by frictional contact between the inner hole and the outer wall. The following SIEGERT types are suitable for this purpose:
