SIEGERT type EMHD horizontal slewing gears are available both as a stand-alone load suspension device for attaching to the crane hook and as a component of the crane for direct attachment.

The SIEGERT type EMHD horizontal slewing gear is a load suspension device for turning the load horizontally. The slewing gear essentially consists of a crane hook suspension mount, a ball bearing slewing ring and an eye hook to DIN 7540 suspended beneath the slewing ring. The turning movement is generated via the teeth of the ball bearing slewing ring and the geared motor with brake. This arrangement provides an infinite turning range.
