SIEGERT screw clamps for vertical and horizontal suspension

The SIEGERT type SSK screw clamp can be used in 2 planes. With its large grab range, it has many potential applications and a controlled interference fit is produced by tightening the screw. The excellent clamping action is assisted by a pressure plate that pivots in a spherical cap. As can be seen from the clamping diagram, the centre of pressure moves when the pressure plate tilts past the angle shown, creating an efficient wedging effect.
