SIEGERT clamps for transporting vertical sheets with rotary locking lever
The type SIL is a secure and robust clamp for transporting sheets in production halls and on building sites. The sheet is held by a mechanical lever system via hardened (HRC60) gripping elements (pawls) that act by micro-positive contact. The clamp is suitable for transporting a single sheet with a surface hardness corresponding to material S355 (St52-3) and with a load-bearing capacity within the specified grab range. The initial spring tension guarantees that the gripping elements are in contact with the sheet at all times. The operating instructions supplied with the device should always be followed.
