SIEGERT container spreaders.

Container handling is becoming an increasingly important industry. SIEGERT container spreaders offer the ideal solution for every application.

The SIEGERT type COGE was developed as a low-cost spreader for occasional handling of 20' or 40' ISO containers. The spreader is attached to the bottom corners of the container using special hooks. The overall height can be minimised by using shortening chains.

The SIEGERT type CONT container spreader is a fixed spreader for a single container size. The spreader is attached to the top corners of the container using twistlocks. The twistlocks are turned manually using a linkage mechanism. As a further safety feature, the twistlocks are protected against accidental opening while the spreader is loaded. Four fixed flippers make it easier to centre the load.

The SIEGERT type HYCONT container spreader is a telescopic spreader for transporting containers of different sizes. It is adjusted via the integral centre-synchronised hydraulic cylinders. The spreader engages in the 4 top corners of the container and is thus locked in position.
