The SIEGERT type BLZ ingot dogs are of a robust scissors construction with a central bolt. The replaceable pawls of the tongs hold the cold steel block by micro-positive contact. The pawls are notched at the tips and have a milled and hardened finish. Ingot dogs are supplied with a hold-open device as standard and can also be equipped with an automatic mechanism. Please contact us to discuss your special needs for applications in hot areas. |
The SIEGERT type 2BLZ ingot dogs are of a robust scissors construction with two central bolts. As a result, the external dimensions are smaller than the type BLZ, but the grab range is larger. The replaceable pawls of the tongs hold the cold steel block by micro-positive contact. The pawls are notched at the tips and have a milled and hardened finish. Ingot dogs are supplied with a hold-open device and can also be equipped with an automatic mechanism, if required. Please contact us to discuss your special needs for applications in hot areas. |
The SIEGERT type 4BLZ ingot dogs have four central bolts. This enables the arms and levers of the tongs to retract into one another. These tongs are thus particularly compact and can be used to lift both round and square objects. |
