The SIEGERT type RZSG round tongs are suitable for all round objects with a dry, rough surface, such as wood, steel or stone. The tongs grip by frictional contact and are designed for a friction coefficient of μ = 0.8. The jaws of the tongs have a rubberised textile lining, which prevents damage to the load surface. If the intended load does not conform to these requirements, the type RZSR with rosettes may be used instead.
